DONATIONS

The Fort Calhoun Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department is a registered 501c(3) non-profit organization that has served its community since 1913. The Fort Calhoun Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department gladly accepts monetary donations. Donations are a vital part of the department's sustenance. The growing requirements of the fire service have prompted us to diversify our training and purchase state-of-the-art equipment to better assist those in need.

Our EMS service is funded entirely by donations and run fees. If it wasn't for the generosity of the public and the dedication of the members on the department, the EMS service would cease to exist. Every time you see one of the ambulances go by, the AED, bandages, IV solution, needles, gowns, masks, gloves, ect., the squad and everything in it is there because of donations. Large or small, your donation goes directly to help save lives.

Your donation allows us to meet our operating expenses and assures that we will be available when called upon. Not only do your donations benefit the department, but also most importantly the citizens we serve and protect.
